A BG CAPITAL PROPERTY
BG Capital:
BG Capital is a real estate investment and management firm primarily focused on commercial and multifamily assets in the Tristate area.
BG Capital was founded in 2012 by Joseph Byrne and Daniel Govberg when the two collaborated to address the need for student housing at Temple University in North Philadelphia. Strictly utilizing our own internal capital, BG has acquired and developed properties that house over 360 beds around Temple’s campus, offering fully furnished units with high-end amenities. With the creation of Govberg Realty, our internal property management, leasing and sales office, BG Capital helped shape the landscape of Temple University student living. Each property in our portfolio is managed and operated directly by our management team, providing unparalleled commitment to tenant services and stability across all of our entities.
BG Capital currently has over $68.2 million invested in real estate, primarily in the student housing, multifamily apartment, and healthcare industries.
the Project:
Commonwealth Campus is a new development in the BG Capital portfolio. The Campus is a revamp and a rebranding of the old Northeastern Hospital in the Port Richmond area of Philadelphia. The campus spans over 18 acres and will include over 367,000 sq. ft. of medical office building space with 500+ free parking spaces.
